Depending on your billing schedule, there is a huge opportunity to communicate with your clients in a way that will assure the message makes it to them. Often time when sending out communication, the mail can be tossed right into the trash without ever making it to your targeted audience. In this post we will discuss methods that we use at Inventive Property Management to improve communication, while keeping cost under control.

Since we provide statements or invoices to our clients, why not use this real estate on the statement for important messages that need to be communicated. After all, our clients will be opening their statements to view the amount owed, lets use this to incorporate a communication tool at the exact same time. By doing this, we are controlling costs, since we are not having to pay for a separate mailing, including the price of the envelopes, postage and all the other costs associated with it.

Through the billing provided, we have the ability to place up to 150 words on each statement that we send out, which is plenty of space to get a clear and concise message across. If for some reason, the message needs more information, we have the know how and ability to place information on the back page of the statement, or include a letter, depending on the circumstance. As you can imagine, by not having to pay the price of postage alone on a second mailing, the savings we pass back to our customers is tremendous.
