ACTE announce first Industrial 4G VPN router from Robustel Technologies

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- The R3000-4L is a ruggedised FDD 4G (LTE) router in a metal housing measuring 125x108x45mm. It allows operation on 800, 900, 1800, 2100 & 2600MHz 4G networks enabling data speeds up to 100Mbps download and 50Mbps upload. The Robustel R3000-4L router is also able to support HSPA+, 3G and EDGE/GPRS/GSM networking functionality as well as 4G / LTE cellular connectivity.

Robustel R3000-4L is part of the “Go Rugged R3000” family which also boast 3G, EDGE and GPRS router options in the range. As with all R3000 versions, the R3000-4L 4G router has dual SIM card holders as standard to ensure cellular connectivity remains when continuity of service levels are important.

R3000-4L has 2 ethernet ports allowing 2 LAN’s or 1 WAN/1 LAN, supporting wireless WAN and wired WAN backup. Additionally R3000-4L has 1 RS232, 1 RS485, 2 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs and 1 USB host to ensure maximum flexibility when providing a serial connection to host equipment is required. For instances when no communications are available or desired, a Micro SD card port can allow data logging of up to 2GB.

The router features a wide operating voltage range of 9-60V DC and temperature range of -25˚C to 65˚C ensuring its use in a wide variety of applications including wireless or IP CCTV, ATM/vending applications and PoE installations.

6 status LED’s are provided as standard to provide status and signal strength information whilst the router can be mounted in a variety of industrial preferred methods, including DIN Rail or wall mounting via a separate bracket.

VPN tunnelling protocols are supported on board the R3000-4L and include IPSec, Open VPN, PPTP, L2TP client / service or GRE. Supported network protocols include; PPP, PPPoE, TCP, UDP, DHCP, ICMP, NAT, DMZ, RIP, OSPF, DDNS, VRRP, HTTP & HTTPs.
