Malaysia MIBC invites India's National Centre for Cold-chain Development to Kuala Lumpur

NCCD (National Centre for Cold-chain Development) releases investment opportunities and business scope in India's cold chain sector at Kuala Lumpur - Investment Roundtable event, commemorating 20 years of India-Asean dialog.

March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- On 26-March-2013 the Chief Advisor of NCCD presented the business opportunities in India's cold chain sector at the high profile MIBC-Invest India conference and Roundtable. The event was held at Kulala Lumpur Convention Centre which is overlooked by the picturesque Petronas Twin Towers.

The conference was heavily attended by Malayasian Business community and government officers. The interest in participating in India's cold chain story was seen to be enormous from the gathering.

The speakers at this event included Sandip Das (CEO, Maxis Communications), Tan Sri Dato Ajit Singh (Secretary General ASEAN), Tan Sri Dato Krishnan Tan (President MIBC), Vinayak Chatterjee (Chairman Feedback Ventures), Prasenjit K. Basu (Regional Head Maybank Kim Eng), Dr. B.K. Modi (Global Chairman, Spice Group), Pawanexh Kohli (NCCD), Amitabh Kant (MD DMICDC) and others.

The industry witnessed a continual and strong presence of government representatives from India and Malaysia. The event was organised through the auspices of the Indian High Commission in Malaysia.
