New Land Director for Davidsons Homes

March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Leicestershire based homebuilder Davidsons have appointed a new Land Director. James Burnham has joined to help them as they look to expand, especially in the East and South Midlands.

Burnham started his land buying career at David Wilson Homes Limited before heading up land buying for the East Midlands office of David Wilson Homes, following their sale to Barratt Homes.

James said “It’s great to be on the team. I’m excited to be joining the company at this time and am focussed on sourcing and acquiring new development opportunities to take the company to the next stage of growth. I’m especially impressed by the level of thought that goes into creating developments at concept stage, which ultimately results in some great places to live.”

Jason Glover, Operations Director at Davidsons, said “I’m delighted that James as joined us. There will be lot happening at Davidsons during 2013 and James has a big part to play in this. We’ve just opened our first Peterborough development, there will be new developments in Leicestershire at Anstey and Ibstock, and there are more in the pipeline. The market has seen some improvement over recent months, and we’re hoping that will continue”.

Davidsons currently has 8 developments across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire, and is looking for land that would be suitable for developments of between 30 and 250 homes.
