Follow on Google News | TurnKey Corrections is Set to Add a Wave of New Facilities in Q2, 2013TurnKey will add over 3000 inmates in the second quarter in Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Arizona, Oregon & Washington plus add services to many of its' existing clients including video visitation, email and law library.
"This is an exciting time in our history. Our #1 goal is perfecting our service to our existing clients and that in itself has lead us to a great start to 2013. Our second half of 2012 consisted of intense focus on execution rates at our facilities in commissary, video visitation and all of our other services. That persistence has lead to many improvements that equated to best in class customer service ratings from our client facilities, improved system performance and bottom line improved dollar impact with our jails." noted TurnKey CEO Todd Westby. Westby stressed the importance of making products affordable and accessible to the end user as a key to overall growth with their facilities. "We believe our products need to be ones that the public who pays for them can afford. When we do this, the overall usage and sales that generate revenue to support critical programs at our client facilities, exceed expectations" TKC has seen a 9% growth in dollars spent per inmate the second half of 2012. This is a direct result of adding inmate e-mail and video visitation to over 70% of its' client facilities. "These products allow inmates to better stay in touch with their loved ones. It provides an avenue for inmates to talk with children from the comforts of home and the public to use what is now the most-preferred method of communication, texting and e-mail, to stay in touch" added Westby. These products are priced at industry-low rates and TKC clients have raved about their impact. "This complete solution and the reviews by our client facilities have made the TKC solution an easy choice for new faciliites and future clients" said TKC's Patrick McMullan. Charged with growing the company, McMullan has found facilities open to the technology advances TKC provides. "We provide the solution jails need AND want. And our ability to bring in solutions that are customized that affordable to the end user and have little if no burden on tax payers, the decision to go with our solution is obvious. And couple that with execution of what we show when we meet prospective clients has allowed us to grow market share in existing areas and open doors in to new territory." And TurnKey is now actively working to enhance awareness with its' customers and users through an aggressive social media presence. "I use Twitter and Facebook to announce our 1st and 15th email and visitation promotions" added McMullan. "Most people don't believe social media is for the jails - they are citizens and customers and their demographics match every other customer base. We are the only company who works with its' clients in our sector to market to our end users. Social media is the most cost effective and widely used means by buyers today. Corrections is no different. We frequently put out a social media specials and the traffic is immediate." McMullan noted. The second quarter will bring about over 3,000 new inmates in to the TKC family. County facilities joining TKC include: Crawford Kansas, Greenwood Kansas, Newberry South Carolina, Madison Indiana, Sandusky Ohio, Jackson Oregon, Ward North Dakota, and other facilities in Missouri, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Minnesota. This is in addition to new sites added in the past few weeks in Skamania County, WA, Cherokee County, GA. And TurnKey continues to add services to its' existing clients including inmate email in sites such as Crow Wing County, MN and video visitation in Stutsman County, ND, Beltrami County, MN . "Our goal is to have 100% of our sites with some form of additional communication product being utilized that we offer - we are well on our way to achieving that goal" added Todd Westby. This growth is also allowing TKC to better service its' clients with the opening of additional satellite warehouses. TKC opened warehouses in Idaho and North Dakota last year and has added a new warehouse in Seattle in partnership with Consolidated Food Management this year. "We expect to have our next warehouse in the KS/MO market functioning very soon given our growth in that area" noted TKC CFO Tim Westby. "We will continue to do what it takes to have the presence necessary to service our clients at an industry best level" Westby added. About TurnKey Corrections: End
