By: Pretty Girls This year, the Surfers for Autism Beach Festival (https://www.facebook.com/ On Friday April 5, the fun begins for the surfers at 9am and then features an after party from 5pm to 9pm, where patrons can groove to the sounds of top bands from across South Florida, including the philanthropic band, Pretty Girls. Since emerging in 2012, Pretty Girls has not only rocked the music scene across South Florida, but they continue to donate their time and unique sound to worthy causes, like Surfers for Autism and - last month, a benefit concert for the animal charity, Luv-A-Pet. Surfers for Autism began on the north side of the Deerfield Beach Pier in 2008, when 40 surfers with autism caught some waves and raised more than $10,000 to benefit autism associated charities. The organization has since hosted events in several locations on Florida’s East Coast, and single events have registered as many as 200 surfers and raised as much as $20,000. About Pretty Girls Pretty Girls is an indie band from South Florida. Their signature sound combines elements of surf rock and garage with heavy power pop vibes. Pretty Girls was formed by Robert Maloy and Brandon Seymour in July 2012 and they recently started working on their debut EP “DAYMARES” End
