IML Australia Nominated MEA 2012 Industry Awards State Finalist

April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- IML Australia, part of IML Worldwide, a specialist in the provision of interactive event technology and the global leader in harnessing audience insight, has been selected as a State Finalist for New South Wales in the prestigious MEA (Meetings and Events Industry Awards) 2012 Industry Awards Program, in the Support Services Category.

To become State Finalist IML Australia (which has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) had to provide extensive information for scrutiny on all aspects of its business. This included a profile of the business, case studies of individual events, how the organization works together, challenges faced throughout the year right through to career development within the company.

The MEA Industry Awards recognise excellence and best business practice in the Meetings & Events Industry. They encourage industry professionals to excel in the achievement of their business and personal goals, and reward those who achieve outstanding results.

Members self-nominate for an Award by addressing a range of criteria that are relevant to the particular category or categories they are entering. The submissions are then judged by a panel of industry and independent judges. The NSW Awards night will be held on Monday 8 April 2013 at the Crystal Palace, Luna Park. The top scoring State Winner in each category will become MEA National Winner and these will be announced and presented at the 2013 MEA National Awards Night, being held on 7 May 2013 at the Darwin Convention Center.
