Zoomdojo-GCC Consulting 101 Workshop: Columbia University, April 13

NEW YORK - April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- On Saturday, April 13,   Ritu Banga, Co-founder and Managing Director of Zoomdojo, and Victor Chen, a Consultant at Protiviti Inc. will moderate a workshop on Consulting as a career - Consulting 101 - at Columbia University's 107 William C. Warren Hall in New York. The workshop is aimed at undergraduate students in the New York Tri-State area, especially sophomores and juniors.

Even before the workshop, prospective workshop participants are encouraged to get a headstart and start thinking like consultants! They can check out  and analyze the two (real) case studies posted on Zoomdojo’s Facebook page. These case studies will form one component of the workshop's interactive group discussion.

About the moderators: Ritu Banga is a co-Founder and Managing Director of Zoomdojo, a start-up job search database and career resource. Earlier in her career, Ritu founded a strategic consulting firm, Point of View, for product strategy development for multi-national companies entering India, and evaluation of NGO projects for international development agencies. Ritu has served on several boards of educational institutions. She has lived in India, the UK, Belgium, the USA and Hong Kong.
Victor Chen is a consultant with Protiviti Inc, focusing on Model Risk and Capital Management. At Colby College, Victor led the Colby Student Investment Association, managing an endowed fund of more than $200,000. He headed the Entrepreneurial Alliance and was the founding member of GCC-Colby. He was named George F. Baker Scholar in his junior year for his commitment to business and entrepreneurship.
