Follow on Google News | Constine Evans Scholarship Fund (CESF) to Award Scholarships Totalling $25K to High School GraduatesThe 5th Annual Constine Evans Luncheon promotes scholastic excellence by giving more than four scholarships and one leadership scholarship to a Linden High School Senior. All are invited to attend, must RSVP by May 5, 2013.
By: Morning Star CCC One of the scholarships being awarded is the Bishop Irvin Evans, Sr. Memorial Scholarship for Leadership. This special award will be given to a Linden High School Senior that has high academics and proven to have given time and service to his/her community. This scholarship is in honor of Bishop Evans, a leader who placed great emphasis on the value of education as well as exemplified great commitment to community. Bishop Evans is remembered for his memorable speech marks, one of which, “To change our world, we must first change our community…ONE CHILD AT A TIME!” With the “$1-A-DAY” - Care Packages (students studying away from home) - College Tours - Financial Aid Seminars - SAT Reviews CESF was created to honor Constine Evans who was the founding mother of Morning Star Community Christian Center. CESF is part of the Morning Star Community Development Corporation, a 501 (c ) (3), a nonprofit organization that manages vital community services.
