Advisors' Academy adds Financial Industry Veteran to Executive Team to Build Recruiting Department

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, Jan. 20, 2013 – Advisors’ Academy, a growing marketing organization in the finance industry, is pleased to announce that Steve Archer has been named the company’s new Director of Recruiting.  With 20-plus years of proven executive success, Archer was pegged as the ideal choice for leading the company’s ambitious growth initiative, which includes expanding its member base three-fold in the next two years.

“Steve is an outstanding mentor, trainer and leader who has demonstrated his knack for building high-performance organizations time and time again,” said Advisors’ Academy founder David J. Scranton.  “He is an incredible asset who will play a vital role in helping us reach our goals.”

During the span of a career that included 17 years at prestigious New York Life, Archer has held virtually every field management and leadership position there is.  From that experience he has acquired a keen sense of exactly what is necessary for an advisor, and an organization, to grow.  He has recruited and developed hundreds of successful advisors in his many years in agency systems, including six who now hold the position of Agency Head or higher at two different companies.  He successfully built one agency from 44 to 105 advisors, and took it from $3.8 million to $9 million in target premiums in five years.  

Scranton said Archer is a perfect fit for helping build upon the growing wealth of resources the Academy already provides to member advisors, and for developing new top-flight recruiting and training teams.
