Black Women Tri Launch Event! Triathlon & Entrepreneurship

BALTIMORE - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Join us Saturday, April 27, 2013 - CEO Tracey Carter-Williams launches “BLACK WOMEN TRI”. BLACK WOMEN TRI will provide triathlon training, health & nutrition guides, personal consulting, entrepreneurship and empowering programs.

The launch party will be a unique, out-of-the box event, with the goal of shifting the perception of Black Womanhood. BWT’s Launch Event will take place on April 27, 2013. 22 South Howard Street R-202, Downtown Baltimore, MD 6-9p.m. Lala's makeup brand entitled “Motives For Lala” will be highlighted at the BLACK WOMEN TRI event.

The event is called Astonishing Beauty Inside & Out and it will take place on April 27, 2013, 22 South Howard Street R-202 Downtown Baltimore, MD 6-9p.m.  It will be an out of the box event with a focus on Black Women and the importance of knowing our true power within.  We want to shift the paradigm of depiction in many media outlets of the Black woman as negative and angry. We will showcase health and nutrition guides and enjoy the fun TASTING of NUVO’S latest flavors, peach cobbler and red velvet cake.

Black Women Tri seeks to increase the overall health and wellness of Blacks in the U.S. and throughout the Diaspora by providing resources that include multi-sport lifestyles, tools to be our best selves and much more!!More than 40% of Black adult Americans have high blood pressure and are at risk for heart attack or stroke. These heart conditions develop at younger ages and are becoming more severe. Weight control and exercise are primary methods of combating these diseases.

The event will feature a live vocal performance by Sherelle, a musical production courtesy of Tonal Concepts. An interactive fashion show courtesy of E. Allure with models showcasing her latest works, MUA’s giving full make-overs and much more.
