Norwood Young, reached musical acclaim with a celebrated solo career, releasing three albums, as well as, reaching Gold Record status as the lead singer of Pieces of a Dream. "I am over the moon about this new music, and I am proud to be able to share it with my Los Angeles family first" Young says. The Na Na Song was co-produced with Grammy Nominated, much sought after, musical director Adam Blackstone. Young's singing career and flare for creativity has kept in the the news for over 20 years. For his philanthropic endeavors, he was crowned “King of Hancock Park”- referencing the affluent Hancock Park community in Los Angles California. For more than 15 years, Young hosted lavish themed parties attended by the “who’s who” in Hollywood. He recently authored a memoir, "Getting Back to My Me”, wherein he writes about his journey filled with success, failure, love, hate, drugs, abuse and getting back to his music. "It's been a long time since I have created and shared my music. I am so elated to give a debut performance of my new song at the new restaurant of my dear friends Tisha and Duane', Young says." Norwood Young was named the spokesperson for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. He recently shared his story at a Congressional Briefing in Washington D.C. to create awareness and dialogue regarding sexual abuse amongst children. Young concluded his speech with a heartfelt impromptu rendition of "Let There be Peace on Earth” that brought the congressional attendees to their feet in ovation. “Singing is what I was born to do.
