April 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Poughkeepsie, NY, April 29, 2013 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (http://www.iaop.org/)® (IAOP®) announced today it will conduct a Certified Outsourcing Professional® (COP) Master Class and Governance Workshop June 24 - 27, 2013, at the Kingsbridge Centre, King City, Ontario, Canada.  The three-day course and one-day workshop for outsourcing professionals will be led by IAOP Authorized Trainer, Rick Ostrander COP.

The COP Master Class offers many benefits, including: a comprehensive learning experience that prepares an individual to successfully lead most outsourcing initiatives; the opportunity to work with seasoned veterans to develop a customized outsourcing project plan for an actual project; state-of-the-art insights into the latest industry and deal trends; extensive networking opportunities with professionals from a wide range of industries and professional disciplines; step-by-step coverage of outsourcing professional standards.

“In the past 4 years, I’ve had a chance to view the COP certification from many angles – as a training program participant, as a certified employee of an advisory firm and as a program instructor – and the value has been immeasurable,” said Eugene Kublanov, COP, KPMG. “The core curriculum provides for a common lexicon for our industry and enables more effective execution across the outsourcing value chain – from clients to advisors to service providers.  The certification and designation has most certainly been a career enabler – communicating to my firm, my colleagues and to my clients an industry recognized standard of competence and professionalism.  As a program instructor, I have had the distinct pleasure and great personal satisfaction of teaching a well-designed, thoughtful curriculum to groups of individuals from many of our leading IAOP member organizations.”

The training, geared for mid-to-high level outsourcing professionals representing customers, providers and advisors of all types of outsourcing services provides end-to-end knowledge of creating best practices for the outsourcing engagement.

IAOP has conducted dozens of public or private on-site COP Master Classes each year globally since 2007 and has had thousands of people go through the training, which is an integral part of the COP certification program. Individuals and groups can pre-register for the limited seating training, which includes meals at the Toronto venue and all course materials. One not need be a member of IAOP to register, but members do receive significant discounts on class pricing.
