will feature creative runway presentations from rising local fashion designers including Felix Anaman, House of Antoinette 1950, Stacy A. Lawes, Fabiola Brunache, and Loraimy Rodriguez – all of whom have proved their commitment to their communities through service. Spirit and Flesh Magazine (
www.SpiritandFleshMag.com), a new, high quality print and online publication centered on beauty, fashion, music, art and modern culture, will decide the winner of the 2013 Fashion Front Awards NYC's runway competition. Choosing a winner of the event's runway competition is our celebrity guest judge panel, including Spirit and Flesh Magazine co-founder Yelena Deyneko, award-winning photographer Kah Poon (

. Several recognition awards will be presented to rising members of the fashion community including models, hair stylists, make-up artists, and more. The winner of the 2013 Fashion Front Awards NYC's runway competition will take come a 1-year public relations contract with communications firm Lawrence Blake Group Int'l, a retail sales contract with Bio NYC, and a print editorial spread featured in Spirit and Flesh Magazine shot by internationally recognized photographer Kah Poon.
NBC’s reality competition series “Fashion Star” launched its second season this spring featuring celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos and fashion journalist and expert Louise Roe as host. Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue returned to the show, with specialty fashion retailer Express joining as the third buyer this season. “Fashion Star” gives 13 eager young designers the chance to win a multi-million dollar prize of launching their original collections in three of the nation’s largest fashion retailers.
Hosted at internationally recognized Lair NYC, Executive Chef Chris Cheung, known for his “Evolutionary Chinese Cuisine” is inviting guests to enjoy complimentary appetizers from 8 PM – 9 PM, and there will be no shortage of delicious specialty cocktails at the bar. Live music performances are scheduled by emerging recording artists DonZell Crow, GMims, and Demi Davis.
ProjectArt is an award-winning organization developing a new model of arts education, one that allows youth to actualize their artistic visions while building their self-esteem and advance as all-around achievers. In two years, ProjectArt’s year-round, after-school visual arts education program has served hundreds while it's advocacy initiative Walk the Talk, has brought awareness for the critical need of arts education, to hundreds of thousands of people. ProjectArt was founded by Adarsh Alphons in 2010.
