Honorees Announced for Upcoming Inspirational African-American Leaders of New York Event

NEW YORK - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Inspirational African-American Leaders of New York event, is an event recognizing individuals impeccably committed to uplifting communities across the great city of New York. Honorees lead in the areas of small business, entertainment, legal, fashion, arts, and nonprofit management, and posses a notable dedication to issues that affect New Yorkers as a whole. The Inspirational African-American Leaders of New York event is proud to benefit, ProjectArt, an NYC-based free arts education organization that allows youth to create art without limits (www.projectart.org), with guests being able to make a direct donation to the organization while in attendance. ProjectArt is an award-winning organization developing a new model of arts education, one that allows youth to actualize their artistic visions while building their self-esteem and advance as all-around achievers. In two years, ProjectArt’s year-round, after-school visual arts education program has served hundreds while it's advocacy initiative Walk the Talk, has brought awareness for the critical need of arts education, to hundreds of thousands of people. ProjectArt was founded by Adarsh Alphons in 2010.
