Westway Ford to Celebrate Its Grand Reopening This May

On May 16th, one of Texas' premier Dallas area Ford dealers will hold a Grand Reopening event to celebrate the completion of its all-new facility, which features design touches that shoppers won't find at any other Ford dealer in the state.

DALLAS - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- After a 15-month renovation project, Westway Ford has built the nation's premier Ford store destination right here in North Texas! On Thursday, May 16, 2013 we’ll celebrate the Grand Opening of our all-new, state-of-the-art facility. But don't think the celebration is just for us, because the truth is that YOU should be celebrating!

When the construction completes in May, Westway Ford customers will be on the receiving end of several great perks that they won’t be able to get at any other Ford store in the nation. “Everything from sales to service has changed,” said Barton Hankins, Westway Ford managing partner. “The features and benefits to our customers are tremendous. You won’t ever find another Ford store quite like this.”

And it’s true. You won’t find another Dallas Ford dealer like Westway Ford. During the renovation, several uncommon additions were made to the facility that had to be checked-off by Ford Motor Company (USA), including the use of a specially manufactured three-person reception desk that you’d only find in a Lincoln store. “We definitely went off the beaten path set by Ford when building this store,” said Hankins. “The all-new Westway Ford is going to bring in new customers by the thousands, so we definitely wanted to be prepared by having three receptionists answering calls and greeting our guests. I saw a showroom reception desk at a Lincoln store that I couldn’t get out of my head, so I asked Ford for permission to build one of my own and they gave us the thumbs-up.” But this is only one of the unique cosmetic features you’ll find throughout Westway. Special features in restrooms, seating areas and the showroom are all dressed to the nines.

If you’re waiting for any reason at all, you’ll be more than pleased with several new waiting area features. Customers that are on the clock and working remotely will be able to utilize one of the Wi-Fi workstations in the business center to make the workday seamless. Over 60 flat-screen televisions have been installed throughout the store and customers just looking to relax can do so comfortably in one of several leather lounge chairs. Guests looking for an early morning snack or an afternoon pick me up can take advantage of Westway Ford’s new café which offers free ice cream, coffee and cappuccino, as well as, many other appetizing snack options.

Over the past few months, more than Westway Ford’s building has been renovated. The entire sales process has also been revised. Off to the side of the new showroom floor, customers will no longer find a guarded “sales tower” where the managers and decision makers of monthly payments reside. Instead, customers will see something totally different and out of the ordinary for any dealership: an open forum sales bar. “Our new transparent sales process allows customers to easily interact with our sales managers on the showroom floor at our sales bar,” said Eddie Brown, Westway Ford general sales manager. “People will also be delighted to know that when you come to our store, we’re going to give you our transparent, best-price offer. There’s no need for all of the ‘haggle and waggle’. Just come over to the sales bar and we’ll show you right there on the computer screen what we can sell it for. There’s not a better way to buy a car.”

Dallas auto repair and service customers in need of routine maintenance, like oil changes and tire rotations, will now be able to pull up to one of three new QuickLane service bays. Westway Ford’s certified technicians are some of the best in the business and will be ready to get customers back on the road as soon as possible.

Routine maintenance is no longer routine at Westway Ford with the installation of new alignment detection equipment. Every vehicle taken into the service area for repair or routine maintenance will receive a free alignment check. “Safety is not only important to the wellbeing of our employees; your safety is important to us too,” said Hankins. “That’s why every vehicle brought into our new service center at Westway Ford receives a free alignment check. Your vehicle’s alignment affects so many other functions of your vehicle; we feel this is one area that just cannot go unchecked.”

“We appreciate our customers so much and invite anyone and everyone to come check out our awesome new Ford store,” said Hankins. “Everything, but the name, has changed.”
