Kathy Shafer Named to RE/MAX Hall of Fame

DALLAS/FORT WORTH, Texas - May 17, 2013 - PRLog -- To receive the coveted RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award, an associate must have completed more than $35 million in closed sales volume in real estate transactions since joining RE/MAX. The recipient is a lifetime member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame once inducted. In 2011, less than two percent of all RE/MAX affiliates earned this prestigious award.

A native Texan, Kathy has resided in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for almost 30 years. Kathy received her B.B.A. in Marketing from Texas A&M University and initially became interested in real estate since her parents were both real estate agents and encouraged her to become a REALTOR®. Kathy joined RE/MAX DFW Associates in 1997 and was honored as the “1998 Rookie of the Year”. She is a Certified Financial Specialist, holds the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation and is a top producing agent consistently qualifying as a member of the prestigious RE/MAX 100% Club. She is a former Coppell I.S.D. employee and is an Honorary Lifetime Parent Teacher Association Member. Kathy and her husband, Carl, have 3 children. Outside of real estate, Kathy enjoys home decorating, cooking, traveling with her son’s ice hockey team, volunteering at the schools, and outings with family and friends.
