SAN DIEGO - June 5, 2013 - PRLog -- The Body Art Training Group today announced the release of its innovative Easy Wizard™ app. This online software program helps body art shop owners write plans for operating their shops in a safe and healthful manner.

All a shop owner needs to do is answer a series of questions about the operation of his or her shop. Easy Wizard™ then uses that information to create a custom safety plan that’s clear, concise, and easy to use.

Shop owners can take Easy Wizard™ for a free test drive by going to http://www.ecipp.com

Body art shop owners who purchase full access to Easy Wizard™ will be able to create an Exposure Control and Infection Prevention Plan (ECIPP).  This is an OSHA-required Exposure Control Plan that has been expanded from protecting just employees to protecting everyone who walks into to a shop. It’s the type of safety plan every body art shop should have.

If a shop is located in California, Easy Wizard™ includes an Infection Prevention Control Plan (IPCP) as required by the California Safe Body Art Act (AB 300).

To increase shop safety even further, Easy Wizard™ also generates an Illness and Injury Prevention Plan (IIPP).  In many states, businesses are required to have an IIPP. The combination of an ECIPP with an IIPP provides owners with a comprehensive safety plan—a plan that is designed specifically for the body art industry.

With the increased popularity of tattoos, permanent cosmetics, and piercing, the body art industry is being held to higher standards of workplace health and safety. Body art shop owners should expect more regulations and more inspections.

Being able to document that a body art shop is being run safely is now more important than ever.

Using Easy Wizard™ to create and implement a comprehensive shop safety plan is the best way for a shop owner to prepare for an inspection—whether it’s by a local inspector or one from OSHA.

Kathy Hartman, of the Body Art Training Group, says, "Most body art shop owners don't have the time to create a comprehensive and well-written shop safety plan.  Using Easy Wizard™ is affordable and quick."
