The Galaxy 3.8.0 works with Android 4.2, has a 1,280x800-pixel resolution TFT display, and 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. It also has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a microSD card expansion slot. Toshiba has ended the long wait for their new tablet models in the market as it released its three new models in the Excite lineup - Excite Pure, Excite Pro, and Excite Write. Excite Pure, with a price tag of $299, is packed with a Tegra 3, 1GB of RAM and a 1280 x 800 10.1 inch screen. The Excite Pro and Excite Write are likely to be identical. Both runs with Nexus 10-esque 2560 x 1600 10.1 inch screen and a Tegra 4 processor. Pro costs $499 and Write costs $599. Asus has also unveiled its dual operating system ASUS Transformer Book Trio. The device is packed with Intel Core-i7 4500U processor to run Windows OS and 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 chip to power the Android OS. ASUS Transformer Book Trio features IPS display with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and 64GB storage. The new edition of Google Nexus 7 was recently released at the Computex Technology Show. Compared to its predecessor, it has an improved screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 from the 1280 x 800 screen display. It also has a thinner bezel and quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. But the price of Nexus 7 will stay at $199 like its predecessor. iPad and Android tablets have gone through different upgrades and changes to cater all the needs of their users.
