SALT LAKE CITY - June 17, 2013 - PRLog -- BoeFly, the premier online marketplace connecting small business borrowers with lenders and a strategic ally of the International Franchise Association (IFA) to expand credit access within the franchise community, announced today that Shane McKnight, president and CEO of a Delta Disaster Services location in Salt Lake City, Utah, secured a start-up loan through a connection made by BoeFly. Delta Disaster Services is a full-service property restoration firm.

McKnight, a life-long Salt Lake City resident, will focus the business on insurance restoration, handling all emergency services and reconstruction for both water and fire damages, as well as more specialized work in mold remediation and asbestos abatement. With more than 20 years of construction experience, including 15 years of construction business ownership and management experience, McKnight will apply his skills toward operating his new disaster services business.

“The business ownership and management experience that I’ve had over the years has helped me maximize efficiency in all aspects of business, including the key area of financing,” McKnight said. “When I needed financing, Delta Disaster Services fortunately pointed me to BoeFly, which completely streamlined the process of applying for a small business loan and allowed me to move quickly with starting the business.”

McKnight’s loan request received interest from several lenders across the country, and after evaluating the financing options, he chose to work with Mountain America Credit Union in Phoenix, Ariz.

“After reviewing Shane’s loan application for his business start-up, I could tell right away that his information aligned with the criteria we look for in prospective borrowers,” said Bill Luckinbill, business loan officer at Mountain America Credit Union. “Using BoeFly to find and close this deal couldn’t have been more efficient, and we will continue to use it to source additional deals.”

McKnight learned about BoeFly at the recommendation of Delta Disaster Services, which is among more than 125 franchise brands that have selected BoeFly to assist their franchisees with financing support.

“Most start-up businesses require funding on some level, even if only to establish a line of credit, and we work with our franchisees to ensure they have access to the best tools to help them get their Delta Disaster Services businesses financed,” said Dixie Feld, VP of Operations at Delta Disaster Services. “To achieve this, we have formed relationships with top third-party funding sources, including BoeFly, which has proven to be immensely helpful in connecting our franchisees with the funding they need to start up and grow.”

BoeFly Co-president Mike Rozman views this success story as an uplifting solution to the widespread issue of small business credit access in the U.S.

“It is always encouraging to see small business owners, franchisors and lenders taking advantage of more efficient solutions to the challenge of accessing capital in today’s tight small business credit market,” said Rozman. “BoeFly has helped Shane McKnight and many others efficiently secure financing to start up or grow their businesses, and we look forward to continuing to work with reputable franchisors like Delta Disaster Services and lenders such as Mountain America Credit Union to help drive small business growth and create new jobs.”

About BoeFly

BoeFly makes it easier to obtain small business loans (http://www.boefly.com/) by reducing the time, cost, complexity, inefficiency and frustration associated with small business lending.  Its online proprietary matching technology connects small business borrowers with multiple lenders from among its over 3,600 participating banks, based on the lending profiles provided by the banks and the information provided in the borrower’s loan request.

Borrowers build a complete decision-ready loan request online using BoeFly’s exclusive “SmartForm” technology which, when completed, provides the information that over 3,600 lenders nationwide indicated to BoeFly they want to see before moving forward with a loan request. The SmartForm is easy to use and guides borrowers through the process. Once BoeFly’s matching technology identifies compatible lenders, borrowers then have complete control over which lenders can instantly access their loan request.  Using BoeFly, borrowers can connect with multiple lenders quickly and easily, providing a greater probability of obtaining a loan, as well as more favorable loan terms resulting from the creation of a competitive marketplace.   Lenders benefit by being presented with only those loan requests that fit their lending profile, dramatically lowering their cost and time of origination.   BoeFly is not a broker.  Borrowers pay a small one-time fee and lenders pay an ongoing subscription fee; BoeFly never charges transaction or referral fees.
