IAOP Re-launches Certified Outsourcing Specialist Certifications

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - June 18, 2013 - PRLog -- POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, June 13 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (http://www.iaop.org/Content/23/154/3629/Default.aspx) (IAOP®) today announced it has re-launched two of its professional certifications in the Certified Outsourcing Specialist (COS) family of certifications for outsourcing professionals.  

Introduced in 2010, both the COS-F&A (Finance and Accounting) and the COS-HR (Human Resources) certification exams have been migrated over to partner CDI Online Management Services’ platform.

The Certified Outsourcing SpecialistTM (COS) family of certifications recognizes individuals primarily involved in the delivery of outsourcing services.  Although the primary intent is to serve the needs of the provider community, certifications in this family may also serve the needs of the customer (i.e. shared service centers) and advisory communities.  The COS family of certifications enable individuals, the companies they work for and the customers they serve to consistently validate a workers specific knowledge, skills and experience in the delivery of outsourcing services.

“The COS-HR and the COS –F&A certification exams provide an excellent means for a service provider knowledge worker to validate their skills and expertise in the Human Resources and Finance and Accounting fields,” said Jim Shea, COP. “ Both exams were developed by experts in the field and do an excellent job of measuring a worker’s knowledge of these fields.”

The online COS certification exams will join the IAOP certification exam for the Certified Outsourcing Professional® on the CDI platform, and candidates may register to become certified through IAOP’s website at www.IAOP.org.
