Zurn Unveils Additional Specification Platforms and Tools to its MasterSpec® Program

ERIE, PA – Zurn Industries, LLC introduces additional comprehensive features to the MasterSpecâ specification system for building and construction projects, including two new platforms:ZurnSpecSM, a new interface on the Zurn website (www.zurn.com); and a free organic search platform provided by ARCOM for easy search capability.

ZurnSpec offers additional tools to the Zurn MasterSpec system launched in April 2013, including BIM models, cross references, and FAQ answers to help architects, engineers, contractors, specifiers, and others as they consider the 400+ Zurn products categorized in 32-sections.

ARCOM’S new organic search platform can be accessed directly at specifications.org (http://www.specifications.org/).

“This second phase of the Zurn MasterSpec program makes it easier and quicker for AEC professionals to learn and evaluate the technical specs of Zurn products, Zurn product bundles, and total building solutions,” says Rachael Wiley-Steffen, Director of Brand Marketing for Zurn. “For instance, Zurn products are easily identifiable with special part numbers. Special care has been taken to highlight lead-free products in consideration of the pending regulatory changes from the Safe Drinking Water Act”.

Zurn is launching its enhanced MasterSpec program at the annual AIA Convention in Denver, CO June 20 – 22, 2013 at Booth # 2916.

The Zurn AIA booth will feature a broad range of product-in-place exhibits, showcasing both exterior and interior applications for various vertical markets such as healthcare, retail, and commercial. With the use of cutaways and other specially designed displays, Zurn is able to easily demonstrate product functionality and benefits, including sustainability, lead-free compliance, ease of installation, labor savings, and retrofit suitability. A similar version of the Zurn AIA 2013 booth recently earned an award of excellence at another industry trade show.
