Corvette Car Show to be Held at Team Chevrolet in Valparaiso

VALPARAISO, Ind. - June 26, 2013 - PRLog -- The Valpo Vettes Cruise In will take place at Team Chevrolet, the premier Chevy dealer for Valparaiso (http://www.teamchevyinc.com/Welcome) and the surrounding area, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. This fun event is a must for car enthusiasts of all stripes, but especially for those who appreciate the legendary Chevy performance car.

The folks at Team Chevrolet will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs during the event; what better way to celebrate America’s Favorite Sports Car?

Chevrolet first introduced the Corvette in 1953, and it has been going strong ever since. Currently in its seventh generation, it is the quintessential sports car, which despite many changes throughout it’s long and storied history, has always featured a powerful high-performance engine, and a dynamic eye-catching design. Take one look at the Corvette Stingray, in any of it many iterations, and it’s clear this is a car that means business.

The Corvette has been chosen as the Indianapolis 500 pace car a total of 12 times, and a number of these pace cars are now owned by members of Valpo Vettes, so attendees to this Corvette Car Show are in for a real treat.

Valpo Vettes Inc. is a local Corvette car club that has been in existence since 1978. They are currently 60 members strong and growing, and in addition to their annual Corvette Show in downtown Valparaiso, which is supported by local merchants and the Tourism Board. They host and participate in a number of Corvette-related events and car shows throughout the year.
