Insurance Exchange Headquarter Releases New Information On Nevada Health Insurance Exchange

Nevada Exchange has launched a brand new consumer facing website to help consumer and small businesses purchase qualified health plans in Nevada.
 
June 27, 2013 - PRLog -- On June 16, 2011, Nevada’s Governor John Sandoval ok'd SB 440 law creating the Nevada Silver State Exchange.

On The month of January 3, 2013, Nevada obtained conditional acceptance for the state-based exchange from the U.S. Department of Health insurance and Human Services (HHS).

Beginning in 2014, medical health insurance coverage for people and smaller businesses will be readily available through new medical health insurance exchanges as required by Affordable Care Act.

The state of nevada will offer a state-based exchange or marketplace known as Silver State Health Insurance Exchange.

The Exchange will open in October 2013, for coverage beginning in the month of January 2014.

Based on the Exchange website, it is developing a brand-new marketplace where Nevada customers and smaller businesses can look for, compare and buy quality medical health insurance plans effortlessly.

The web site will advise consumers with the application process and various helpful tools which includes up front cost hand calculators, plan sorting by primary care provider, prescription medication availability and hospital network.

The vision would be to create "easy purchasing of medical health insurance for most Nevadans."
