Insurance Exchange HQ Releases New Information On Medicaid Expansion In Arizona In 2014

Arizona has decided to expand Medicaid under ObamaCare and Arizona Health Exchange which is federal run exchange is going to facilitate new medicaid expansion.
 
June 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Under Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, Arizona has defaulted to a federally-facilitated health insurance exchange.

At first, Arizona tried to create state run exchange by establishing the Office of Health Exchange.The goal was to develop the health insurance marketplace in house so that to provide individuals and small businesses, an easy to use and consumer friendly option to purchase affordable health insurance.

But In 2011, the law to establish a state-run health insurance exchange failed, so state now have defaulted to federal government run health exchange.

According to healthcare.gov, starting in October 2013 Arizona residents will be able to access information about all the plans available through the Marketplace. The SHOP Exchange will also be available to small businesses. Coverage from the Marketplace starts in January 2014.
