Follow on Google News | Salad Bars Donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey CountyDonation being recognized with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on July 16th
The Grower-Shipper Association (GSA) Foundation and The United Fresh Produce Association have a goal of placing more than 350 salad bars throughout California. Twenty- “We are so excited about this gift! Our kids love fresh fruits and vegetables, and the bar makes it fun and easy,” shares Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County CEO Donna Ferraro. “We have a strong commitment to good nutrition at the Clubs because we know it is fundamental to a healthy lifestyle. This gift will have such a positive impact on the lives of our youth.” GSA Foundation Board member Margaret D’Arrigo-Martin explains, “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County was a perfect match for our More Produce in Schools project.
