Love Global Foundation awarded the Social Media Award for excellence in Non-Profit engagement

NEW YORK - July 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Earlier this year The Love Global Foundation (LGF) sent six unsuspecting donors to visit the missionaries they were fundraising for. The contest, which closed in March of 2013, was part of a new approach to fundraising for Christian missions led by LGF and Foundation Director Darian Kovacs. The Vancouver-based foundation rose over $500,000 while engaging over 1,200 donors through their unique online fundraising platform that has been designed to enhance communication between missionaries and their funders throughout the world.

LGF believes in the power of storytelling and looks to facilitate the sharing of stories through their missionary and Champion networks. As they share these raw, uncut stories their hope is to see the bonds between missionary and supporters strengthened and the work of the Church furthered.
