LabelService Announces Partnership with 2112 Marketing for Tyre Labeling Services

ASCOT, U.K. - July 8, 2013 - PRLog -- LabelService have partnered with 2112 Marketing to strategically help them with one of their contracts to supply all print and packaging for a well-known tyre manufacturer.

But the job was not straight forward at all, it posed a big challenge for LabelService. The contract was hugely influenced by recent changes in EU legislation. The legislation meant that the labels have to be individually marked up with several areas of varied data and graphics. There were over 2000 different label sorts that all had to be originated and the labels themselves had to be cut into singles, packaged and distributed to over two dozen different outlets in the UK.

But that wasn’t all for the experienced label supplier. LabelService then had to contend with the issue of the adhesion on the labels themselves. Rubber tyres are incredibly difficult to label successfully, as the vast majority of, what is described as “permanent adhesive”, just comes unstuck almost straight away.  

However, LabelService successfully completed the order within 5 working days, owing their success to the experience it has with previous clients who need tyre labeling. From their experience they knew exactly what face paper and adhesive to use which was the key to executing such a quick turnaround time. The labels were originated in the LabelService studios before being sent for printing, then converted, sorted, packed and dispatched all within one working week.

This is one of LabelService’s most challenging jobs and one which their Managing Director, Gary Lovell, relished.
