The Ken Blanchard Companies® Named One of San Diego’s Best Places to Work

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 11, 2013)—The Ken Blanchard Companies® was recently named as one of the 2013 Best Places to Work in San Diego.
 
ESCONDIDO, Calif. - July 11, 2013 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, CA (July 11, 2013)—The Ken Blanchard Companies® was recently named as one of the 2013 Best Places to Work in San Diego. The annual list of the Best Places to Work in San Diego was created by the San Diego Business Journal, Best Companies Group, and sponsors Moss Adams LLP, Fisher & Phillips LLP, and Active Network.

This countywide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in San Diego, benefiting the county's economy, its workforce, and its businesses. The 2013 Best Places to Work in San Diego list is made up of 100 companies. The Ken Blanchard Companies has been named one of the Best Places to Work in San Diego.

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
Be a publicly or privately held business
Have a facility in San Diego
Have at least 15 employees working in San Diego
Be in business a minimum of one year

Companies from across the county entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in San Diego. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in San Diego and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
