Three Valensi Rose, PLC Lawyers Designated 2013 Rising Stars

LOS ANGELES - July 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Three Valensi Rose, PLC attorneys were designated by Super Lawyers Magazine as "Rising Stars" among Southern California lawyers for 2013.  The three lawyers recognized were Autumn Ronda, John C. Keith and Mayer Nazarian.

This is the first Rising Star designation for Autumn Ronda.  She is in the firm’s Tax and Wealth Planning, Transactional and Entertainment Law departments.  Ms. Ronda earned her MBA concurrently with her law degree and elected to further her legal education by earning a Master of Laws in Taxation.  Her practice emphasizes tax and estate planning, trust administration and probate.  She also practices in other areas including international tax, business and real estate transactions, entertainment and general corporate law.

Ms. Ronda is very involved within the legal community, currently serving as President Elect of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Barristers and Vice Chair of the Young Tax Lawyers Committee of the Taxation Section of the State Bar. She is also involved with the pro bono Wills for Heroes program, a national project that provides complimentary basic estate planning documents to first responders.

John Keith has been recognized for the third time as a Rising Star. He was also recognized in 2009 and 2010.  Mr. Keith has a broad-based business litigation practice that includes bankruptcy, breach of contract and commercial disputes, breach of fiduciary duty and director and officer liability, fraud and business torts, insurance, intellectual property and trade secrets, partnership and LLC disputes, and securities and shareholder derivative actions.

Mr. Keith is a member of the editorial board of Los Angeles Lawyer magazine, which is the official publication of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mayer Nazarian has also been named as a Rising Star for the first time.  Mr. Nazarian is a transactional and tax attorney with a depth and breadth of business and taxation expertise.  He assists business owners at all stages of their company’s lifecycle, including formation, operation, and sale or dissolution of their company.  

Mr. Nazarian currently serves as Treasurer for Children’s Music Fund, a non-profit organization providing musical instruments and music therapy to children with chronic and life altering illnesses and supporting research on the effects of music therapy.  Mr. Nazarian is also the Chair-Elect of The Beverly Hills Bar Association’s Taxation Section.

Candidacy for becoming a Rising Star is parallel to the Super Lawyer selection process, which is based on peer nominations and prestigious professional accomplishments.  Rising Star candidates are required to be 40 years of age or younger or to have been in practice for less than 10 years.  Only 2.5% of the attorneys in California that meet these criteria are designated as Rising Stars.
