TDX Group colleagues raise over £1000 for local charity

NOTTINGHAM, U.K. - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- 10 colleagues from Nottingham-based TDX Group raised over £1000 for local charity Nottinghamshire Hospice on Sunday 9 June when they competed in the Vale of Belvoir Triathlon. TDX Group chose the hospice as their 2013 charity earlier in the year and the company has pledged to raise at least £20,000 to help the hospice provide palliative care for adults with a life limiting illness. Four colleagues competed individually in the triathlon, with the remainder competing in two teams. The fastest individual was Director of International Partnerships, Garry Evans, who finished in 1 hour and 38 minutes. Holly Swinckels, Fundraising Development Manager for Nottinghamshire Hospice commented, “Thank you to all the TDX competitors for taking part in such a great event on our behalf; this kind of support makes all the difference to our patients, their families and carers.” Mark Sanders, CEO of TDX Group said, “We’re extremely proud of our colleagues who have competed in this challenging event to help raise money for a very worthwhile cause. The amount raised will go towards helping us to achieve our goal of £20,000 for the hospice.”
