Grenadier Homes to Build 32 Single-Family Homes in Creekside Estates

Next month Dallas homebuilder Grenadier Homes plans to begin construction on 32 new homes in Creekside Estates, near Southfork Ranch in Wylie, Texas. The developer is in the process of building new roads, and Grenadier Homes will begin construction.

DALLAS - July 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Next month Dallas homebuilder Grenadier Homes (http://www.grenadierhomes.com/) plans to begin construction on 32 new homes in Creekside Estates (http://www.grenadierhomes.com/properties/community/creekside-estates), near Southfork Ranch in Wylie, Texas. The developer is in the process of building new roads, and Grenadier Homes will begin construction on individual houses once that is complete.

“We expect to begin construction on individual homes in August, but we’re pre-selling them now because we’ve had such a demand for them,” says Christa Minick, Grenadier Homes’ Creekside sales manager. “They should be ready for move-in by early next year.”

The new homes are a part of Phase VI construction in Creekside Estates, a community whose master plan calls for 870 single-family homes when completed. Although the community is in its sixth phase of development, it is Grenadier Homes’ third phase.

“We came into the project during the fourth phase of construction,” explains Anthony Natale, co-founder of Grenadier Homes. “Most of the original homebuilders were unable to continue the project, which provided us with the opportunity to serve homebuyers’ needs in Wylie. Creekside Estates is a beautiful community, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”

Creekside Estates is located off of McCreary Road near Southfork Ranch, and it will stretch from McMillen Road to Parker Road when completed. The model home is located at 3026 Leesa.

“It’s an ideal time for us to start Phase VI because we’ve already sold 60 homes and only have a handful left,” adds John Egnatis, co-founder of Grenadier Homes.

Creekside Estates features single-family, detached, estate-style homes in both Plano ISD and Wylie ISD. Grenadier Homes has built each home on an oversized lot, which allows for large front and back yards and a quiet neighborhood environment. Homes start in the mid $200,000 range and are available in several floor plans from 2,160 to 3,932 square feet inside and up to 421 square feet of outdoor living space.

Each Grenadier home has standard “green” features such as a 16 SEER HVAC system, radiant barrier roof decking, drought-resistant landscaping systems and thermal block, Low E, vinyl windows. They are Green Built™ Texas (http://www.dallasbuilders.com/divisions-and-councils/gbt/)-certified and Energy Star (http://www.energystar.gov/buildings/)®-rated by a third-party certifier to ensure the highest levels of efficiency.

“In Creekside Estates, we offer a lot of ‘big ticket’ standard amenities that most builders charge for. A covered patio in the back and either a spacious courtyard or covered porch in the front come standard, along with cedar accents, stone work and ornate brick detailing,” notes Minick. “Grenadier also offers flex options to allow people to customize their homes for far less than a custom price tag, like third-car garages and Casitas, which are living spaces that are attached to and accessible from the main house with their own bathroom and private door to the outside.”

Minick adds that Grenadier offers a Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) buyout program on select homes, which can save homeowners up to $280 a month on house payments.

“Normally you’d have to put 20% down to get rid of the PMI, but with Grenadier’s assistance, you can put as little as 5% down, if you qualify. It can save you a lot of money over the lifetime of the mortgage,” explains Minick.

Creekside amenities include a wooded preserve, community parks and playgrounds, a catch-and-release fishing pond, soccer fields, baseball fields, a basketball court, hike and bike trails, and easy access to Firewheel Mall, restaurants and other retail options.
