Follow on Google News | Ex-Numerica CEO returns with Clark Howes acquisitionTony Sarin, founder of Numerica, has returned to the practice market with the acquisition of southern accountancy company Clark Howes.
By: Clark Howes The pair will work alongside the Clark Howes founder, Rodger French, who will remain as the firm's commercial director. Mr Sarin was a high-profile figure in the profession during the early naughties where he led the acquisition of Levy Gee, using the Numerica brand to buy more companies and float. The listed consolidator model was followed by RSM Tenon and Vantis. Numerica eventually split up, with Vantis and BDO taking its former office space. Mr Sarin also serves as chairman of a private equity firm K2 Partners. Tim Shaw is a chartered accountant who initially founded his own accountancy practice in London. Tim later became CEO of Watford Football Club's holding company in 2000, before joining Sports and Entertainment Media Group. Tim was also CEO of Children's Charity 'Rays of Sunshine', where he nows sits as a trustee. Clark Howes founder Rodger French said: "I am delighted to welcome Tony and Tim to the firm.
