PODS® Lexington Performs Act of Generosity, Contributes to Kentucky Conservatory Theater Summerfest

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Aug. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Aug. 06, 2013 – PODS Lexington, a moving and storage company, has stepped up to the stage by donating two reliable PODS containers for the Kentucky Conservatory Theatre’s 2013 SummerFest, an outdoor theatre festival which brings Shakespeare, literary classics and musical theatre together. This year’s featured plays are “Peter Pan” and “A Chorus Line.”

PODS Lexington donated the use of a safe and secure PODS container that served as an on-site staging ground for the theatre volunteers and equipment. The donation from PODS Lexington will help save the theatre company much needed dollars in moving and storage logistics.

“We are proud to support the arts and donate our logistical support for the Kentucky Conservatory Theatre's Summerfest,” said Ken Kocon, co-owner of PODS Lexington. “We believe in giving back to the community and it’s great to see so many talented individuals come together to express themselves on stage.”

According to the Kentucky Conservatory Theatre, more than 3,500 attendees have experienced the excitement of this year’s Shakespeare in the Park.

"Our sponsors play a vital role in maintaining the stability of the Kentucky Conservatory Theatre. Without sponsors, productions like Summerfest would not be possible,” said Wesley Nelson, executive director for Kentucky Observatory Theatre. “We would especially like to thank PODS Lexington for not only making this year's Summerfest possible, but an incredible success as well."
