HOUSTON - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- TeKay Designs Inc. released several new Egyptian inspired bridal designs at Houston International grand fashion extravaganza including wedding gowns representing Egyptian Queen Isis, Queen Nefertari, Egyptian Pharoah - Ramesses the Great, and Egyptian Princess Neferneferuaten Tasherit.

The bridal gown representing Egyptian Queen and Goddess Isis has creased front and multiple strands of gold colored rhinestones on the sleeves and hip. The name Isis means "Throne" and her headdress is a throne. As the personification of the throne, Isis was an important representation of the Pharaoh's (King's) power.

The Egyptian Queen Nefertari gown has beaded floral alencon lace draped over white satin with crystal trim around cap off shoulder sleeves. The beaded lace veil with rhinestone trim projects royalty. Queen Nefertari was the great royal wife and Queen of Egyptian Pharoah, Ramesses the Great.  The model wearing the Queen Nefertari gown was escorted by the model representing Egyptian Pharoah Ramesses the Great who is considered the most powerful Pharaoh (King) to ever rule ancient Egypt. The Pharoah’s attire included a light gold robe, white tunic, kilt and hat with gold trim.

The gold and ivory beaded trim and silhouette of the bridal attire representing Egyptian princess Neferneferuaten Tasherit revealed the sexiness that Egyptian royalty is known for. Egyptian princess Neferneferuaten Tasherit was an ancient Egyptian princess of the 18th dynasty and the fourth daughter of Pharaoh Akhenaten and his Great Royal Wife Nefertiti.

“This show was an opportunity for local Houstonians to experience a fashion extravaganza representing royalty with emphasis on our high end Egyptian gowns, statement necklaces and headpieces. It was also refreshing to showcase the new designs on the runway after months of designing and producing. The event allowed the public to visualize alternatives to the typical white wedding dress, and also promote color and culture for bridal.” states Creative Director, Kimma Wreh.  The dominant colors of gold and white are historically associated with royalty and wealth in various African and Asian cultures around the world.

The Queen Of The Brides collection is designed for the woman who wants to feel like a Queen on her special day. Custom colors and custom designs including matching accessories are available for theme-based weddings, pageants or special occasions.
