TeKay Designs (Liberia) wins West Africa Women's Wear Designer Of The Year Award

MONROVIA, Liberia - April 9, 2016 - PRLog -- The West African Fashion Awards (WAFA) is an annual fashion awards event to showcase West African designers and present awards to those who have made the most outstanding contributions to the fashion industry during the year.  Held on the 26th of March 2016 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos Nigeria, the ceremony honored the most forward-thinking designers, models and practitioners who have made an impact across the region. Liberian Fashion Designer Kimma Wreh is the Creative Director / Founder of TeKay Designs (an award winning international fashion label) with operations in the USA and West Africa. Wreh has a Bachelor's Degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. and Master Of Business Administration (MBA) from LeTourneau University in Houston Texas. Wreh and the Union have a deep appreciation and pride in Liberian tailor made garments and country cloth.  The Tailor's Union provides training certificates and diploma courses on Tailoring, fashion design, Country cloth weaving, Tie and dye application, business and financial management, pattern making, advanced garment construction, etc.
