Follow on Google News | Advisors’ Academy Road Show Format Rolls on With another Major Success: the First Academy ShowcaseSuccessful Exhibition Cements a Marketing Strategy that Will Include both Large-Scale Live Shows and Smaller, more Intimate Events
“We weren’t surprised to immediately pick up several new advisors as a result of the Showcase, even though it was our first,” said Academy Director of Recruiting Steve Archer. “Because the event was smaller in scale than ‘Behind the Curtain,’ it provided more opportunity for individual attention and close interaction between our presenters and the advisors who attended. That was the idea, and it worked beautifully.” With both formats now having proven successful, Archer said the Academy will continue to alternate between the two as its “road show” rolls on. They already have another Academy Showcase scheduled for September 20th and 21st, and another “Behind the Curtain” event slated for November. Archer likened the approach to a band or musician that plays both big arenas and small theaters in a single tour: both venues have their unique strengths. “You may not hear as many songs or get as much razzle-dazzle in the more intimate setting, but you’ll probably get a better understanding of each song and learn a little more about the artist,” he explained. “That balance works well for us because, with our Bull’s-Eye Marketing catalog, we certainly have more than enough material for the big shows, but we also want to give attendees the chance to drill down and get a good understanding of how these strategies can really transform their business!” Systems presented at the Academy Showcase encompassed the full scope of business objectives, from sales and lead-generation to branding, referral-gathering and professional partnerships. The common denominator in most Bull’s-Eye Marketing strategies is a component that allows advisors to generate more qualified leads for less money, and to ultimately “attract business instead of chasing it.” In most cases, presenters at the Academy Showcase were the very producers who created the systems that they “showcased,” “When it comes to getting your message across, there’s really no substitute sometimes for face-to-face communication,” About Advisors’ Academy David J.
