Follow on Google News | World of Beer Brewing New Location in DenverBy: Hype Group Located in the Belmar Shopping Center in downtown Lakewood, WOB Belmar will boast over 500 bottles of beer and 50 rotating taps.The 2,500 sq ft location will partner with several local restaurants, including The Rock Wood Fired Pizza, Wystone’s World Teas and Rocko’s Tacos. Food from these restaurants is available to all patrons. “We are very excited to bring WOB culture into an already thriving and exceptional craft beer market here in Colorado,” said Neill Boyd, General Manager at WOB Belmar. “We look forward to being a part of the craft beer culture here, and the opportunity we have to support the local Colorado breweries.” Boyd has been with World of Beer since 2009. His interaction with the original World of Beer Westchase in Tampa, FL brought an opportunity to work with this new and exciting concept. He now looks forward to his opening day in Lakewood and partnering with many local breweries, including the up-and-coming nano-breweries. Opening day will be celebrated by benefitting a local charity, which is yet to be revealed. A grand celebration will take place soon after with live music, food, raffles and giveaways. In addition to the opening event, World of Beer hosts monthly brewery nights and spotlights, tap takeovers and beer-centric events celebrating American Craft Beer Week, Dogfish Head Shark Attack, WOBtoberfest and more. Happy Hour will be held Monday through Friday from 2-7pm with $1 off all drafts and wine by the glass. Weekly promotions include, Monday: Service Industry Night with half off all drafts from open-close, Tuesday: Loyalty Card Night with 25% off all bottles from open-close, Wednesday: WOB University Night with half off all drafts for faculty and students from open-close and Thursday: Ladies Night with half off select drafts and wines from open-close. Live music will be featured Thursday – Saturday from 9pm-1am. The ‘WOB Culture’ is unlike any other. The specially trained staff has completed an extensive, two-week beer school, and are on-hand to guide customers through the World of Beer experience centered around a global menu of beverages, live music and televised sports. WOB steadily rewards its customers by offering a Loyalty Club Program that enables them to earn points on trying different beers. Guests earn one point for every different beer purchased at WOB, gaining them access, appreciation and rewards. The program is available to all guests, and is easily accessible through the app (available for iPhone and Android smartphones) WOB was founded in Tampa, FL in 2007. Currently, 44taverns are open in 14 states (FL, AL, VA, TX, WI, OH, IL, NC, GA, AZ, CO, SC, MI and WA). Locations to soon follow are The Villages, FL, New Brunswick, NJ and Baltimore, MD.
