Follow on Google News | HERS Breast Cancer Foundation 14th Annual KEEP ABREAST Event Goes VirtualParticipate in HBCF’s Annual Celebration of Life from Anywhere
This is the first time HBCF has gone virtual with its annual KEEP ABREAST event. Participants simply select 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon and hit the local trail, street or treadmill of their choice. Registration is available now and closes on September 21st at 12:00 a.m. PT. The price to participate in this inspirational event is $25.00 and all participants will receive a commemorative medal. “We are extremely excited to be in our 14th year of the KEEP ABREAST Walk/Run and are thrilled to offer participation from any location with our virtual walk/run,” said Karen Jackson, Development Director at HERS Breast Cancer Foundation. “For years we have had interest from people who couldn’t physically be at the event, so enabling them to participate virtually is a huge bonus for everyone.” This community fundraising event is the organization’ Virtual participants are requested to complete their walk or run by September 30th, and are then asked to post results and any pictures on the HBCF Virtual Run Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ About HERS Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF) HERS Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to support all women healing from breast cancer by providing post-surgical products and services regardless of financial status.
