David M. Leone, P.E. of GZA GeoEnvironmental promoted to Associate Principal

NORWOOD, Mass. - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that David M. Leone, P.E. has been promoted to Associate Principal at the company’s corporate offices in Norwood, MA.
A resident of Waltham, MA, Leone joined GZA in 1998 and over the years has held the titles of Engineer 2, Engineer 1, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.  His areas of specialization include hydrology, hydraulic engineering, water resources, flood evaluation and site civil engineering.
Leone received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.  
He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island and holds membership in the Association of State Dam Safety Officials and the U.S. Society on Dams.
Leone has presented at numerous industry conferences and recently was a contributing author to the U.S. Society on Dams “Guidelines for Dam Decommissioning Projects, Peer Review Draft.”
