DeWayne Alston Shows off his DJing skills on the 1’s and 2’s in the “beyond THe LYRICS” room

WASHINGTON - Aug. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Baltimore, MD’s Program Director of Soul City Media Network, LLC, DeWayne Alston is the featured guest in the ‘beyond THe LYRICS’ communal deejaying room with host “DJ Violasbabygirl” on Turntable.fm on Wednesday, August 14th at 10:30PM EST. 

DeWayne Alston, a Prince George’s County born, Baltimore, MD bred author and owner of Soul City Media Network, LLC, started out with a love for music early on in his lifetime. While studying Engineering at Maryland Eastern Shore, he made an attempt to work at the institution’s radio station, but was turned away due his choice in major.

It was years later that DeWayne took matters into his own hands by creating Soul City Radio, a highly influential internet radio station, in 2009. The station has since evolved into the Soul City Media Network, a media/public relations firm dedicated to supporting and promoting independent artists. DeWayne currently serves as the station’s program/music director. Also, to his credit, he has published two works of poetry, Here I Am, in 2006 followed by Morality Clause in 2009.
