Dr. Calat graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He then spent the next five years focused on advanced specialty training in the field of Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology at Columbia University / Harlem Hospital Center. He has earned the distinction of being named a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Calat is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the New York Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Calat is also a faculty member of Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he helps educate future Oral Surgeons.

In Dr. Calat’s Manhattan and Hoboken, NJ offices he specializes in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, treatment of dental infections and dental emergencies.
