ARLINGTON, VA – August 15, 2013 – The American Management Association (AMA) Enterprise Government Solutions, the global leader of talent transformation dedicated to providing workplace learning for government organizations, has announced that they are now offering a GSA-approved Lease Acquisition Training (LAT) Course to help
Real Property Leasing Specialists and Leasing Contracting Officers satisfy one of the requirements for the GSA Real Property Leasing warrants for the Public Building Service (PBS) leasing program.
Available through AMA's MOBIS Federal Supply Schedule Contract #GS-02F-0092R, this training is now one of the prerequisite courses required for the Basic, Level I, II or III real property leasing warrant. The four day practitioner-
level training program, co-developed with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM©) in accordance with the Lease Reform (LRe) Implementation Report issued in April 2011, covers the lease acquisition process from the initial phase and pre-solicitation activities through and including post-award activities and tenant occupation of space.
“We are proud to be able to offer this course to assist
Real Property Leasing Specialists and Leasing Contracting Officers in satisfying their requirements,” said Sam Davis, Vice President, AMA Enterprise Government Solutions. “Attendees will cover the complete policies developed by the Office of Leasing; the advantages of working with the Leasing Desk Guide; and the acquisition process: the stages, who is involved, the required documents, and appropriate authorities and considerations.”
