Meditation: easy way to lose weight and fight Obesity

According to the author and celebrity yoga trainer Subodh Gupta, meditation is an easy way to lose weight and fight Obesity.

LONDON - Aug. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Meditation practice can act as a effective tool for losing weight and fight against obesity. The most important reason people fail to lose weight is simply because of the lack of will power or lack of determination.

Meditation can help to stay determined and balanced so that one can reach his/her weight-loss goals.  All our physical actions begin as a thought in our mind first and when strong enough then only transform into physical activity.

If you think that junk food is making your waistline bigger and you want to stop eating it, you first have to make a decision to change your eating habits which is again at your mental level.

Most people ended up eating extra while multitasking. Ideally we should eat when we're hungry and stop as we're full, however since we are not aware in our daily life we ended up eating more. For example eating pop corn while watching movie or eating food while watching tv, etc.

With regular meditation practice one become more aware of every action one perform in his or her own life which results in reducing food cravings and help with portion control.

Nowadays many supermodels and actors such as Supermodel Gisele Bundchen practice meditation regularly.

Eating with awareness is not about  calorie counting but being aware when and what our body needs and than feed it accordingly. One can begin with at least 15 minutes meditation each day. After meditation one can feel more balanced and calm.  Meditation will bring the right mindset and living a healthy life will become your natural choice, effortlessly.
