Yes, we do need to dig holes to access your home's foundation.  Sometimes these holes are on the outside perimeter of your home, and sometimes we can dig them inside your crawl space. 
Our team works with you to plan the repairs in advance.  That means your inspector will discuss your lanscaping with you-- if you need to move any shrubs, or if you prefer for certain landscaping elements to remain undisturbed.  We'll find the plan that you're comfortable with.
When we dig holes for foundation piers and brackets, we'll dig some with an excavator, and we'll dig others by hand.   We're looking for the best method for your property, and to leave as much land un-touched as possible.
