Boca Law Firms Merge - Creates Seven Member Firm

The bankruptcy, restructuring, corporate law and commercial litigation law firm of Marshall Grant, P.L., has merged with the litigation firm Law Office of Ruben E. Socarras, P.A. forming the boutique firm Marshall Socarras Grant, P.L. (“MSG”). MSG is located at 197 S. Federal Highway, Suite 300, in Boca Raton, Florida.

The three partners, Adam Marshall, Ruben Socarras, and Joe Grant welcome the addition of Tracy Coffman, Jason Throne, Lawrence Pecan and Stacie Daley, as the firm expands its practice to 7 lawyers. The expansion allows MSG to continue to serve its clients in its established areas of practice and further develops its core competencies allowing it to handle a variety of legal issues in the areas of business/complex commercial litigation, corporate law and transactions, bankruptcy law and restructuring, real estate law, employment law, and general civil litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance related matters.  Both firms and their practice areas complement each other well, allowing its members’ collective experience to provide a greater variety of leading legal services, while becoming even more resourceful and proficient.  

Adam Marshall is an AV Rated attorney that has been practicing for 14 years and was previously with two prominent international law firms.  Adam focuses his practice in the areas of corporate restructuring, reorganization, and transactions, and bankruptcy law.  Ruben Socarras, also AV Rated by his peers, was with a partner with a Fort Lauderdale boutique firm.  He has been practicing for over 9 years and primarily handles a variety of business and civil litigation matters in state and federal courts.  Joe Grant, AV Rated and formerly with two esteemed large national law firms, has been practicing for 15 years and handles cases in the areas of complex commercial litigation and all facets of bankruptcy law.  

Most notably, the firm currently represents Casa Casuarina LLC, the owner of the former Versace Mansion on Miami Beach in the high-profile Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  They recently received Court approval to market and sell the property at a bankruptcy auction currently scheduled for September 17, 2013. The landmark property was once owned by the famous Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace, and was listed for $125 million one year ago, then $75 million earlier this year.
