Obesity rates for children continue to track at all-time highs, a major issue for communities throughout the country. To address this issue, Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Triple Play program is working to combat this issue, one kid and one connection at a time. Club kids and leaders from around the U.S. will use the Summit to take ownership of addressing this problem in their local communities. ● Attendees will learn from peers, kid experts and health & fitness experts how to empower individuals and communities to make healthier Club, neighborhood, school and home environments. ● The Youth Town Hall will kick off the Triple Play Youth Leadership Summit on Friday evening. ● BGCA will provide tips for kids and advisors to take back.
