Moore III, formerly with The Moore Law Team, is a Bay Area intellectual property attorney who has acted on behalf of clients in disputes with corporations such as Apple, Adobe, Intel, Microsoft, and the DVD Copy Control Association. Cases include Hepting v. AT&T; DVD Copy Control Ass’n v. Kaleidescape, Inc.; O’Grady v. Superior Court; MapInfo v. SRC; Visa International Service Ass’n v. JSL Corp.; and DVD Copy Control Ass’n v. Bunner; and Pavlovich v. Superior Court. He also co-represents the plaintiffs in the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s two actions against the NSA: Jewel v. NSA and First Unitarian Church v. NSA. Moore serves on the Board of Advisors of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and has been named a “Super Lawyer” by San Francisco Magazine. Moore’s background includes work at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and serving as chair of the litigation department at Tomlinson Zisko LLP. He received his A.B. from Stanford University in 1979 and his J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall) in 1984. End
