Artist Jennifer Young was commissioned to the paint wine labels for Frances Mayes' Tuscan Sun Wines

RICHMOND, Va. - Aug. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- In February of 2013, Tuscan Sun Wines, LLC of Denver, Colorado, commissioned Virginia artist Jennifer E. Young to create seven paintings of the Italian countryside for their exclusive use on a new line of wine labels for writer Frances Mayes, author of Under the Tuscan Sun.

Painted with Young’s signature style of expressive brushwork and vibrant color, each of the seven oil paintings portrays a theme that is central to life in Cortona, Tuscany and “Bramasole,” Mayes' villa made famous by Under the Tuscan Sun. The wines were first made available in Italy in July, 2013, and will be available in the U.S.A. in the fall.

Jennifer Young, known for her vibrant landscape oil paintings of Europe and the American South, has been painting professionally for 17 years. Her paintings have been exhibited nationally and collected internationally. Young paints both on location and in her Richmond, Virginia studio.
