Novel Grounds Literary Awards is NOW OPEN - GO VOTE

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Sept. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- VOTING HAS BEGUN!!

Starting today and running through September 15, 2013, the Novel Grounds Literary Awards (http://novelgrounds.com/lit-awards/) is open.  Anyone can vote and are encouraged to do so, but make certain you vote for your favorite, becasue you only get ONE VOTE per catagory.

There are six cataegories in total.  Best Book Boyfriend, Best Romance, Best Paranormal Romance, Best Erotic Romance, Best Five Star Book and Best Overall Indie Book.

When asked why she decided to have the awards, Novel Grounds' owner (https://www.facebook.com/NovelGrounds), Meg, said this: "I decided to do the awards because every time I read a book that was amazing and saw that people weren't reviewing, or didn't know about it, my heart broke.  These fantastic authors deserve to hear about how amazing they are and hopefully these awards help spread the word about them."

She also mentioned the reason she loves Indie Books: "Indie Books are a special love becasue they are unknown.  In reading, I feel a special rush knowing I'm one of the first to read a work that will in some way change someone's life."

The books that were nominated are all Indie Books, written by Indie Authors.  It is the hope of all Indie book lovers that contests like this one will help spread the word that many indie books are just as worthy as a lot of traditionally published books.

Author and Graphic Designer, Rene Folsom, was asked how she felt about being nominated.  "I'm very thankful for people like Novel Grounds and all of my readers for supporting me enough to nominate my books in two different catagories.  I can't wait to see the votes climb!"

Certainly all of the authors are thrilled to find that they are loved enough to be nominated.
